India growth rate slumps to 5.7% in Q1 in challenge for economy

5.7% is horrible for Supa Powa!
Even with 6% growth, China is adding an entire Supa Powa every 3 years!
True. For a 2 trillion SUPA POWA..Their growth rate is even lower than a 10 trillion + economy which have collapsed so many times (in their dreams of course)... pathetic...

5.7% is quarter growth not annual, never thought chinese are these dumb :disagree:

Based on Official figures of GDP, it will take china almost 17 years to add another India of 2016, to its economy

The chinese after dokhlam fiasco is humiliated and isn't getting any feel good news, so they are circlejerking each other to trivials of articles now. Watch how clearly it is written Q1 which they can read, but still ignoring just to feel good about themselves. Never thought I will see chinese getting this pathetic

LOL.... 2 Trillion $ is a pretty large economy, larger than UK at present.

Its even larger by PPP standards, its a 6 Trillion $ economy and the 3rd largest in the world.

Rather than worry about India which seems to be doing great by all standards, you need to worry about china which is doing worse by all standards.

india-competitiveness-index.png

You know you are lying

China economy growth between 2016 and 2015 = 11199.15 Trillion $ - 11064.66 Trillion $ = 134.49 Billon $

India economy growth between 2016 and 2015 = 2263.52 Billion $ - 2111.75 Billion $ = 151.77 Billon $

India adds more to its economy than china.

In the top they are enjoying 2.5 times of its GDP as debt :partay:

You are soooo... funny, Compare economy size with UK, a developed economy with gdp per capita almost 30 times higher than you.. I really don't want waste time here with you.
And you are talking about "ppp", then why you still use nominal growth in US $, when you do the math here..
funny indian logic...

Brother, i'm afraid you're expecting too much from these mental challenged little men, can you see they're having hard time even to distinguish the different between 6% of 10 dollars and 7% of 2 dollars LOL
In short, the only "FACT" is that their GDP ranking has been remained stable since 1996, i guess that should be something for our Indian friends to be proud of?

Yes it is .My figures are from IMF and WORLD BANK websites .Go and check. Please donot use made in India calculater and donot consult any RSS website.Do a simple math.
In 2016 growth rate of china was 6.7 % and estimated nominal GDP in 2015 as per UN was 11.158 tillions of US dollar. So what will be 6.7% of 11.158 tril.It will be 776.16 bill US $.
Similarly growth rate of india was 7.2 % and estimated GDP nominal in 2015 was 2.112 trill. So 7.2 % of 2.112 trill would be 152.064 billlions of US $

LOL....... I have provided the figure of 11.199 Trillion USD in my Statistics

And my figures ARE the official World Bank figures.

https://tradingeconomics.com/china/gdp

https://tradingeconomics.com/india/gdp

China GDP in 2015 = 11.064 Trillion USD
China GDP in 2016 = 11.199 Trillion USD

India GDP in 2015 = 2111.75 Billion USD
India GDP in 2016 = 2263.52 Billion USD.

India added 151.77 Billion USD to its economy between 2015 and 2016.

CHina added 134.49 Billion USD to its economy between 2015 and 2016.

Fist I use Nominal method, so you tell me I should use PPP.

So I used PPP, and then you tell me I should use Nominal method

Unlike you I have provided Links to prove the official source of my figures

....... and yet our GDP increase is MORE than china GDP increase

India adds more to its economy than china.
6.7 % of GDP of Chinese base year .
7.2 % of GDP of Indian base year.
I think but not sure both countries are using 2015 as a base year for calculation.

So what happened to your gdp in 2007? It actually went down. Don't tell me your GDP growth in 2007 is negative!
Go find your gdp in 2007 and 2008:

I am not interested in Indian GDP of 2007 :cheesy:

I am more interested in Indian GDP in 2017 and 2018

Its only the chinese who want to live in the past because their future is not so bright.

6.7 % of GDP of Chinese base year .
7.2 % of GDP of Indian base year.

Its irrelevant.

This is the Annual growth rate of China of the last 10 years. What does it tell you ?
