You are missing the big picture. The reason why China attempted incursions was to stop Indian infra projects in areas it claims. India however has continued work on those projects. So no status quo changes in that regard. BTW as I have already shown in some other threads, satellite imagery does no corroborate claims by some media outlets of incursions 3-4 km.
