Can you imagine what would happen if say British border patrol, coast guard were to shoot a boat filled with illegal refugees? Or worse, imagine if an American border patrol were to machine gun illegal mexicans attempting to cross the border?

I believe he was wearing Lungi, so per most Indians on this forum, chances are 99.9% that he was a Muslim, as Hindu's in Bangladesh and West Bengal wear Dhoti instead of Lungi.

Also, since 90% Bangladeshi's are Muslims, so there was a 90% chance that he was Muslim. Another factor is that he was a cattle smuggler, and BSF (Indian Border Security Force) knows who these people are very well. So my question to you is how many Hindu's you think engage in trading of Holy Cow Mother (Go Mata), whom the Hindu's revere as deity? The sad truth is that BSF charges a very high fee of bribe from these poor cattle smugglers and they sometimes try to go back and forth, thinking that they would be able to evade BSF and save money, but its against BSF business interest, so they routinely kill these people, to make sure that they do not choose this route. It all boils down to money. The difference is that if these cattle smugglers were Hindu's, I am sure he would not be killed so easily and Indians here posting comments would have a completely different take on this issue, validating the bias that afflict those trigger happy BSF guys at the border.

I cant imagine the uproar there will have been if that had happened in my country, U.S or any other developed country. The government would have resigned due to the public backlash/uproar im sure about this. Human beings life are valuable and are to be cherished, they are not animals for GODS sake. Afterall, this was just an illegal immigrant seeking for a little better life(not like India is an eldorado per say with all due respect). So should this means you have to kill him and justify it? What type of democracy do you live in? Seems even their northern communist authoritarian neighbour is better than India. I expected better from India to be honest.
