Don't worry Bd got special formula to avoid middle income traps, so it useless to do the dirty jobs like what Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia doing by growing their manufacturing sector, build up basic industry like steel and automotive sectors along with communication parts, chemical and petro industry complex, setting up vocational schools and relevant work force for dirt industry like shipyards, steel, and other manufacturing parts all will be bypassed by embrace 4th generation industrial revolution and reach sky-high developed status .

We are in ASEAN is fool here, and still mingled at dirt jobs and dirty our hands with oil, and plate steel making to build car, motorcycle, car engines or spoiled our eyes while making Hard disk, chips and processor, RAM or playing muds and growing palm oils and processed them towards cooking oil, soaps, margarine, synthetic chemical compounds or even sources for Nitric acid solution compound for our explosive industry.
Look all ASEANS are not doing things in similar pace. SG is developed country. MY pretty much avoided middle income trap and already cruising towards a developed economy. Philipines despite hiccups are doing great and expanding service sector strongly. Vietnam has some issues and a test case. Rest of them are in danger unless course is changed.
Brazil is a highly industrial nation with steel, automotive and everything but they got stuck in middle income trap. Its a dangerous economic model and only a very few countries could avoid.

Do not worry about our Golden Bangladesh where geniuses like @Black_cats, @Homo Sapiens, @TopCat, @Bilal9 are all roaming the streets with high thoughts guided by their political top-ups. BD does not need all those dirty 1IR, 2IR, and 3IR jobs because poor countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. will be working in the workshops to produce the manufactured goods for consumption by these guys sitting in their drawing rooms fitted with computers to create 4IR goods. Just like that.

Singkies even though well developed but they are still playing dirts and mud creating electronic, building ships, aircraft spares parts everything need manufacturing, and you know what Brazil starting to have good prospects for their economy when they starting their manufacturing industry instead of relying on commodities, the rising of company like EMBRAER, avibras is good sign for their future in which to reach developed status need more innovation, research and patents development in which usually come from hardworking manufacture sectors.

Malaysia still playing mud and growing palm oil, building auto sector and not shy away from the dirts and research in manufacturing industry

India, albeit look like that actually got a decent and well connected manufacturing industry backed by their research center and got large number of them. The output of their industry is on Par with the Germany or South Korea. So they actually with large number of population base capable to draw some of their talents to pursue IT and services sector

Why you need to do whining all the time. When you don’t have knowledge about 4IR don’t make comment on it. No where it is said while training youth for 4IR Government will stop all economic activities. Why do you think all these SEZ, electronics parks are getting build? 4IR to utilize the educated youth for more productive works so that they can earn more money at home and abroad.

Your attitude is like an immature girl friend or wife who constantly creating nuisance. If we go by your logic then Government should not have adopted 3IR like laptop, cell phone, internet etc. Is not it? Bangladesh should have stuck with 1IR and 2IR and with dinosaur steam engines.

What’s your knowledge on 4IR? Will you enlighten us? Do you think countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria etc. has less population and can’t divert its talent to IT industry? Or focusing on IT industry and other industries can’t go side by side without supporting and complementing each other?

It appears Indonesia does not earn much money from it outsourcing and it is fully reliant on minerals, natural resources, forestry, agriculture etc for export earning.

Just because Indonesia does not do it outsourcing much why do you think other countries can’t do that? Or set a goal to achieve that?

Its all about making everybody productive not about what kind of job it is.. It could be sewing clothes or plucking palm.. its immaterial as long as the economy could pay them good with decent lifestyle.

India is a huge country and their manufacturing economy is too small to support 1.3 billion people. Its not about just industry but the quantity and share in the GDP.

You destroyed your argument by bringing in Brazil as it is permanently stuck in middle income status.
Embraer is now pretty much controlled by USA's Boeing btw.

We do it, but we don't boasting and bragging too much like yours lot. Don't you think we are not engaged in fourth industrial revolution, we got much startup tech companies and had producing icon start up like Gojek, Traveloka, Tokopedia, bukalapak, and starting cloud computing technology companies at homes with the help of tencent, Alibaba, Amazon and google. Fintech investment in Indonesia is real and we are the largest IT spender in ASEAN region and clearly backed up by measureable data and research

Reach the level of Brazil first and doing something like them, than talk about Developed phase. You even still stuck at LDC phase

It’s great to know. Now tell me how investment and research in IT or 4IR impacting other industries?

LOL. BD has met all 3 conditions to graduate out of all LDC phase - it only needed 2 and will graduate out in 2024

Stop trying to distract from your incorrect assessment on Brazil. Let us see what the IMF thinks will happen with Brazil up to 2024:

It is futile to argue with this idiot. I have said in other post, he will continue to whine no matter how better Bangladesh's economic performance is. Bangladesh is growing 7-8 percent and industrial expansion happening at double digit. Still this idiot whining day and night. Imagine if Bangladesh was similar condition like some other countries who are struggling to grow. I bet, this traitor will continue to bad mouth Bangladesh, even if we become developed country somehow. Then he will harp about how this developed status is just an illusion or it will not last long. Then he will post a picture of homeless Bangladeshi in the street and claim, see, Bangladesh is not developed. This whining bitch has turned into even bigger traitor than idune was. Look at his posts now, doing tango with foreign trolls and tagging us to show his dancing skill.

I have pretty much given up on that dude.

I am now on an 8 month ignore, having started with 2 weeks, 4 weeks etc. The idea was that he will eventually get the message and be amenable to reason.
I think he is permanently lost now and so will probably never unignore him again.

Let him whine and bitch about BD all day long as it will not change the reality of BD's growth story.
