yeah. But those are frigates and this is another contract i guess..

Yea true. But given the contrains of our economy, buying 4 new completely new warships is an incredible . This shows that our armed forces are delivering their promise of mordernising the military:). Btw are we getting the harbin z9 helis together with the frigates??

The total ships from China will be 5. Two LPCs + 3 Frigates. Correct me if i am wrong.

AFAIK, there will not be any helis with the LPCs. Harbins are supposed to come with the frigates, there will be 3 as reported before.

However, would like to see 2 new choppers with ASW capability for the LPCs.

Cheers!!!

No its 2 frigates, im qiute sure about that. Its pakistan who are getting 3. I think we have enough helis with asw capabilities, we must now diversify our naval air arm

by 2021 we will have 5 modern frigates... That is the plan i guess..... They have not decided anything about the fifth frigate.. I heard BN is interested in another ulsan class frigate...

Note that the last part stated for this ship will be completed by December of this year. I'm still waiting for more photos to come out before making assessments.
