If afghanistan was sincere in 2005 and karzai wouldn't have given RAW and baloch sepratists bases to work with each other in 2004-5. We would not have started supporting Haqqani group in 2006-7. Pakistan was sincere uptill 2004. When you interfere in our matters, don't expect we will hold ourselves.

That Karzai was a disaster for Afghanistan. As long as the kabul regime doesnt allow afghanistan to become a base for launching foreign proxy wars, pakistan should do all in its power to force the talies to make peace. I just dont know how much influence pakistan has there.

Finally some sense prevailed. Going against Pakistan would have only hurt Afghanistan more... After America's complete withdrawal we would still be able to reconcile with Talibans and can still revert the situation post 9/11
