Djibouti is prime example of a rentier state on steriods they got a French Base , a Chinese base, a Japanese Base, a American Base as well same goes with the rest of the Horn of Africa the Iranians,the Turks ,The French ,The Saudis,Indians,Chinese,Americans etc some of them have bases some not but a presence in the crucial African region
