Can you explain what a medical Council would do?
Is it the source of best practices/guidelines? Is it suppose to be a regulatory body? What is it function that doesn't already exist in Pakistan in some way or another? and if a similar body exists; can't that body be reformed?
These bodies are made up of senior and experienced medics, nurses, dentist and pharmacist who govern and advise the government on ways to improve services to the general public. I don't know what you have in the US but in UK that's what we have.
