Pakistan should be a technocracy, each individual who is in the government should be a specialist in their field and able to yield positive results.

This was the case in the 60's partially when a technocratic getup was observed and it paid off well. But things went back into the hold of the same old rascal feudals, industrialists and general elite who are not capable of running a nation.

Today the situation is even worse, ministries are given to people based on political expediency, favors and friendship.

Things won't get any better next time round as no one has the guts to change the landscape entirely.

I didn't like IK at all but lately its changed a lot. The more I listen to him the more I'm convinced hes the right choice for Pakistan. We need an honest, sincere, patriotic, educated and gutsy leader. IK is the entire package. I'm convinced he is and I'm voting for him next election. 18 more months, hang in there Pakistan.
