Ethnic distinctive features of Middle Eastern people is tanned skin, not white skin. Greater exposure to sunlight, intensifies skin pigmentation as the skin absorbs sun rays and this enrichment causes the skin to become darker, golden brown or a darker shade. One day does not make any difference. Israel celebrated its independence on 14 May 1948. Palestinians could also celebrate it on same day 14 May 1948 (or on 15-13 May if they wished). But instead they decided to start a war and remained stateless till this day.
