That's not how a superpower behaves. IAF should have shot it down mid air like PAF did with one Mig 21 Bison and one Su30 MKI (Mini Awacs). But here Su30 were playing escort for this AN-12 coming from Pakistan. Well, escorting is nothing new..A sizeable portion of the GDP of the superpower is generated by these escorts.
