Why do you need to announce it? Can't you announce it after you start work? How is the IAC-1 coming along?

OMG ... projected 10 years built time?!! And how likely is this given the fact that not even IAC-1 is close to being finished??

They probably had a wake up call with IAC-1 and hence is giving a slightly more realistic 10 year build period. It took China almost 5 years to refurbish, learn and create the necessary skills with Liaoning. Those skills were used on 002 Shandong, and hence it only took us 5 years to complete that ship. Judging by Indian efficiency and the state of their shipbuilding industry, it will take them at least 15 years to complete a single carrier if commissioning is included.

No worry, they can always find some "foreign suppliers" to blame on.
