Uighurs come from Siberia and Mongolia. Xinjiang is not part of central Asia, it is part of East Asia. Han Chinese earned Xinjiang by conquest in 100 BC.

Anyone is welcome to try to take it away by force, but they have to deal with the consequences if they lose.

The students peacefully left there before dawn. Beijing is big. The riots happened in other places, The rioters, who were instigated by CIA, killed soldiers, burnt military vehicles first. If soldiers shot first, the rioters would have no chance to cause so many damages.

Why do you think protesters become violent in the 1st place if not the soldiers didn't try to murder/removes them from the square.
