What's new

Huge leaks are exposing Xinjiang's re-education camps. But don't expect Beijing to back down

The Hong Kong election results were a complete humiliation to the CCP. A great day for freedom loving people.
They didn't even have an election before 1997, so what do they get? leaving China? we are just watching their show, that's it, China has hands off policy to Hong kong, they don't pay us one cent tax. they are just hurting themselves, not us.

Some written text from an unknown source that conveniently happens to echo the U.S. regimes carefully constructed narrative about China happens to fall into the hands of the same U.S. regime propaganda mouthpieces fabricating and spinning that narrative.

So U.S. regime propaganda mouthpieces will do what "free press" journalist do and all "independently" perpetuate it as the truth until there is proof its just fake.

Wow never seen the U.S. regime pull that move before! :rolleyes1:

Slight problem with your narrative. You don't have a single country in the world that supports you in the narrative that you are simply adding voluntary training camps. AND seemingly you don't have China denying the leaked papers, now.

Interesting. I read the quote within which seems to be hedging and be nuanced. None said your camps in Xinjiang were volunteer training camps but defended China's human rights record and its fight against terrorism et large.
We have way more supporting us than those who support you, interesting?

See several secret videos here: https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/26/asia/china-xinjiang-leaks-analysis-intl-hnk/index.html

(CNN)The Chinese government's carefully constructed narrative around its Xinjiang detention centers appears to have been shattered by hundreds of pages of leaked documents published by Western media over the last two weeks.

Beijing has long insisted that its vast camps are voluntary "vocational training centers," where people learn job skills and are then free to leave.

Yet the leaks paint a grim picture of heavily fortified re-education centers, designed to turn Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities into good Chinese citizens who also speak Mandarin.
And the students can't leave until they have become just that.

There has been nothing yet to indicate the documents are fake -- both the New York Times and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists have published the original versions or verbatim copies on their websites. Even China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not directly disputed their authenticity.

"For all its efforts at secrecy, the Chinese government can no longer hide the extent, and the reach, of its campaign of repression in Xinjiang," regional expert Adrian Zenz wrote in an opinion piece in the New York Times this week.

Watch this video and see what rubbish West has for China and rest of countries against US imperialism.
