Yes, we are not proud of the fact that how we treat our women. But we have been improving and with literacy rates going up and poverty level going down, I am sure that these kind of incidences would certainly go down, if not totally eliminated. Unfortunately, the whole region suffers from this problem and not India alone.

I usually avoid this sort of news, especially if its about India, but what boiled me the most was that he walked in streets with her head !!! the instant provocation leading to rage is something else, this is like moving with a medal !! eeerrrrrrr.......

This is not an incident where a man with a highest IQ has planned a assasination and takes the head as a trophy, but a incident where a man with mental and social problems had done a crime out of rage and after doing that his mind would have put up with so much pressure that he took the head and rommed around. And to other members do not twist this and say that this only happens in India, there has been crimes that resulted out of mistrust in a relationship from all over the world.
