How we could enforce lockdown

The one thing Pakistan excels in since 1947 is imposing Curfew and ensuring people stay inside their homes

We are the one country on the planet which have used curfew Bazi for long time

• The only new trick this time around the Rangers may be needed to drop food supplies to homes in need
• Some patients may need to be picked up to be dropped off to quarantine zone

• Existing busy areas which are shut will need to be disinfected with spray

Pakistan will have to use it's Tankers in strategic manner

Bleech it

While public is inside in their homes for 10-14 days

a) Fill water tankers , add clorex / bleach and spread on busy streets and disinfect
b) Water is free from River
c) Buy Clorex or Detergent to be used to spray




Pakistani cities are not known for their cleaning record , and this will certainly test the people and system , change will be enforced in this case their is no side tracking it now

How about all of you concerned citizens sitting overseas and lecturing the Pakistan government to lock up its citizens, first of all lock yourself for 14 Days, and ensure you keep a video diary of your Isolation, and once you have done this and set an example, then ok the Pakistan government can think about locking up its own citizen. Until then, you really need to stop lecturing on things you, yourself DO NOT want to do.

Also how about some of your approach the Italian government and ask them to provide full details of those who have died in Italy - full name, DOB, address and location of the people who have died due to Corona Virus. Hint, Hint.

I'm already in lock down (self isolating} . I think I've got Corona, but since the harami here aren't testing we can't know for sure.

It's boring, we're running low on milk, having to make English tea now, we've got handi, but I have an upset tummy so am only eating toast.

It's not easy but I think our govt should be funding basic rations. Even if it is just 2 roti per day per person. Enough so people don't die. We need to contain the spread. The graphs are not looking good.

High temperature, cough, aches and pains, nausea, general Tiredness. It could just be a regular viral infection but we don't know because the UK government is not widely testing.

My brother works as a doctor. He is also ill. His colleagues husband was hospitalised and confirmed to have Corona. Now 4 of us in our house are ill with the same symptoms.

So it's likely to be Corona - but can't be sure. We're all young and healthy though - so will recover inshaAllah

There is a sort of medium way being suggested in the blogspace: No complete lockdown but definitely lockdown the more vulnerable segments of population and utilize the tested/younger people to continue as much economic activity as possible: Medical help, mass cooking, delivery of foods, sanitary work, grocery stores, gas stations....

Pakistan is BLESSED to have a large young population and by all accounts so far 80% of infected people come out okay. Use THEM in a strategic manner NOW! I am sure there can be paid/unpaid volunteers in hundreds of thousands at least on Division levels. Let them drive the economic activity, even creating the herd-immunity...

It can be done and must be done!
