What's new

How many trade, economic deals were signed during Imran-Trump meeting?

I never thought it was fickle. I am of the view that in the big sceme of thinks Pakistan got as much out of USA as USA got out of Pakistan ~ if 70 year ledger account was ever prepared. Indeed had there been no USA I think Pakistan as you see it today would not exist. A bit like that small fish that latches on to sharks to sustain itself, Pakistan did with USA. I think the ledger account would show + in 1960s, even in 1970s, + in 1980s, even in 1990s, minus in 2000s and now I hope we can even it out if not place it in + category.

Smart little fish, is all I can say here! :D

Thanks to PMIK we have the spectacle of ~

  • Indian accussing US President Trump of being a liar.
  • US reiterating it was not a lie [the mediation request by Modi over Kashmir] and implying Indians are liars.
This is what you call a MOAB. Have both sides chucking crap at each other without even raising a finger. I can see PMIK with grin on his face.

Creating such spectacles is the Orangeutan's specialty, but they usually do not amount to much in the end. The same will happen here, given the hype with Li'l Kim previously.

don't worry, all the trade and economic deals were written on this parchi :cheesy:

But he is American citizen true Pakistanis support Imran Khan unconditionally

True Pakistanis only support Pakistan unconditionally. When it comes to Pakistan even my mother is not above criticism and is subject to accountability for me, let alone Imran Khan.

Please stop this deification of the man. He is just a man and has left many things in need to be criticized. We did the same for Bhutto and Nawaz, do you not see the results? Khuda ka wasta hai. If Umar bin al-Khattab was answerable to a lowly peasant in his court, Imran Khan can go take a hike.

Like tum jeto ya haro hamain tum sa Pyar hai

Winning is his job, if he is responsible for the loss he must be held accountable and punished for it. What exactly has Imran Khan done for Pakistan or Pakistanis that he is above all accountability? What right does he have not be judged by Pakistanis? Pakistan owes him nothing. He owes the fulfillment of his promises to the mandate that brought him into power.

If it is, it is pretty dry jagir. All the juice was sucked out by NS and Zadari. It is sat i n Avenfield, London and Dubai.

Hardly. Pakistan is being milked everyday still. It is silly to say that only NS and Zardari have sucked on it, something we tell ourselves to feel better. Every single Pakistani has washed his/her hands in this pool. Many a person in Imran Khan's government has done it for decades. There still remains a plenty.

Supporting Imran Khan means supporting Pakistan
And criticizing Imran Khan = praising Zardari and Nawaz

I'm sorry, those are two extremely moronic statements. I mean no disrespect what so ever and I do not use this sort of language lightly but there really is no other way of putting it. I know it's not your fault either, you were born into a nation which worships refuse willingly, knowingly. Why would you be any different than PPP, MQM and PMLN's jialas? Think our people would go insane if they didn't have some master's feet to kiss.

I'll stop here before my disgust gets the better of me.

When PM Khan visited China last year, his minions screamed, "look, look, Imran Khan got a photo shoot with the Chinese businessmen, wow, just wow." However, the PM came home empty-handed and only a promise to help Pakistan.

A year later, Pakistan has so far received some chanda from China thanks to PM Khan's intense negotiations.

Now, the PM visited the US on a three-day visit. What for? What exactly did he achieve? What economic, trade negotiations were discussed exactly?

Last year, President Trump accused Pakistan of being a bad boy and disrespecting his country. However, he has now announced in front of PM Khan, well done, you're now a good boy and you've learnt to respect America.

Did the PM only go there just to get a shabaash?
Rather a twisted slant you have especially ' you are now a good boy and you've learnt to respect America' no one has said that so please stop the nonsense

Purpose of this visit was to negotiate the Afghan peace process and where Pakistan stands in this. But Imran is returning with a lot more than meets the eye; he succesfully turned the chapter on the stranded US-Pak relationship, put us on the strategic map again and once again we're on US' good books without even asking for it.
And Kashmir was mentioned which has set whole indian media on fire.
What else do you want?
$60,000 well spent, I would say.

If you are criticizing Imran it means you are praising former government

No it does not, not in any parallel universe. Criticizing Imran Khan means criticizing Imran Khan.

Just because motor oil seems less toxic than cyanide it does not mean that you chug it all down.

need help?

I think I've had my dose for a good few days. Thanks, though.

Need to wait a bit to see the results, everyone do not have the ability to deliver before actual time...

I know its nothing much, but results will on economy and relations in due time.
