How many Mosques within 3 kilometers in Lanzhou, Gansu province , China

This city definitely needs more schools than mosques, as one of China's poorest cities, if Lanzhou can have over a dozen of schools within 3 kilometers in the city, it would become one of the best Chinese cities for education.

Xinjiang province even has more...
Xinjiang region is home to more than 25,000 religious venues, including 24,400 mosques. On average, there is a mosque for every 530 Muslims, a proportion that is higher than in Turkey.

Maybe it is exactly the reason.

Mosques are private facilities, schools are provided by state, Mosques do not stop school setup

How so? The GDP per Capita of Lanzhou is higher than China's average.

Because having mosques is a problem for the modern Chinese mindset?
Every thing that takes them away from a spiritual practice and into the emptiness and hollowness, and hence an easy to manipulate and completely distracted mindset. That's what the Chinese state has been nurturing and the final product is out now in the current generation of Chinese.

Mosques are public facilities in China. Schools can be public or private. I didn't say having mosques stop school setup. I only think over a dozen of mosques in 3 kilometers are too many.

All ideologies are designed to control people's mind. Communism or religions are the same in this regard.

So is the government going to destroy these too?

In that regard so is education, especially when it's in a communist country.
Your going to isolate yourself and eventually undo your country. The far east hates you the north Americans hate you and now the middle east and central Asians along with south Asia is going to hate you. Enemies all around.

.
I would say the government built them.

Funny thing is our global approval rate is increasing year on year , based on PEW global poll.

China has good relations with all Muslim countries. I can't say the same between Muslim countries with themselves.

Not necessarily.
It's the people's influence and blind following of the masses that makes an ideology or religion a means for control.
Religion on its own is free of control and a pathway to ascension of ones consciousness to a higher understanding of things by establishing a link with the source.

Ha, let's see how that longs
