How Mamata Banerjee has converted West Bengal into a communal cauldron

Definitely not China. :)

As in, we will have to wait for another 5 years?
What do you mean by economic lifeline?

Why would that be?

I don't know , but Pandit leaders and Seniors are pissed by his ignorance and arrogance .
Amit Shah's response to them before and after the elections was polls apart .
He wanted to win seats in Kashmir valley but reality is Pandit numbers are not enough to get him a seat there .

Dhulagarh incident is nothing compared to what happened in last October when Muharram procession clashed with Durga immersion. People of both the communities were hacked to death from Birbhum to Medinipur; Not a single leaf turned in media.

Cut aid from center, dry up essential supplies like cooking gas or petrol.

Unconstitutional and undemocratic. Democratic political system is for the people, not the other way.

What do you expect people to do? Vote for the party that was responsible for dividing her opposition vote in last legislative assembly or the party that thought her support in Rajya sabha would be crucial to pass the bills and turned a complete blind eye on her corruption scandals?

how about raising voice against the misdeeds of mental Didi ? turds from Jadhavpur university were quick to stage protests against JNU arresting but now all of them vanished like a fart in thin air. . not even a single voice aginst TMC gundaraj . ...why ? selective outrage only or too scared to go against TMC ???

Jadavpur student community that is affiliated to the left represents nothing of the entire Bengal electorate. Isn't it foolish to equate the entire populace with a fringe minority?
What I am trying to say is when outsiders blame the Bengalis, they simply ignore how the political system works in this state and go on cursing the mass. People will vote for the opposition, only when it's attitude is honest, resolute and compact. Otherwise they will continue to vote for the ruling party. This is the simple formula, the left managed to hold on for 34 years.

Dada . .then ppl should change the political system or stop feeling bad about outsiders cursing the mass. when ppl know this is bengal was screwed under Left ruling and mental momta is carrying their legacy forward . .why not look for the alternatives ?

Why not a national party? With a Bengali face at the top.

We might actually see it happen now sooner than we imagined in Tamil Nadu.

Without sufficient ground work, mass communication and organisational skills no political party can survive and this happened to Congress here and now paralysing Bengal BJP too. If you had looked into last LS election results, you would have found that BJP was consolidating it's footing here. But in assembly election, Amit Shah declared his main target is the next assembly election and party workers simply got heart broken and many defected to TMC.
I saw in the last assembly election myself, BJP workers cursing their central leadership for not being hard enough against Mamata. When party workers had lost hope in their leaders, how do you expect people to vote for them?

Hope this answers @padamchen's question also.
