Not all nationalizing is bad! its the competence of the people at the helm the affects it, phutto harami placed uneducated poojari at the helm who knew nothing and further they were utter jahil too.

you do that then thats what will happen.

Nationalism kills innovation and private investment

Only successful examples are monarchs in oil industry where it did work(middle east) otherwise it hasnt worked

So while pakistan was still making TIPs phone world was making mobile phone..we were leading in 1960s yet stuck there

At 3.2 it stated that Argentina Govt didn't increased exports and invested heavily on infrastructure through foreign borrowing which have led the debts to alarming levels

Nationalisation, not nationalism. The two things are very different.

A.k.a nawazism...infrastructure building when its not needed and not properly studied ..this will make people rich and happy but because return isnt there it will mess up things ..example is 1990s era lahore islamabad motorway..

The traffic in hyerabad karachi was much higher..GT road was still single yet we spend billions of $ on it..it was 15 years early

again, its all about the monkey business at the top! There are two theories on this BUT your postal service in america is an example! privatise that and then it will collapse! so many nations have or developing a national health service too! In Britain there was thriving car industry all destroyed because of people appointed at the top were absolutely absurd.

Some industries are good when they are a private equity! No doubts about that. even private equities go bust and one of the reasons is poor management among others.

Innovation and competition ..is the answer
Be it private or govt if this doesnt happen it will go burst

In 2015 one usd was equal to 9 argentinian peso, now its equal to 59 argentinian peso. If I remember right only the Zimbabwe and Venezuela are doing this badly. The public and the corporations(internal and external) have just lost trust in their currencies.

Recent Chaos which IK is trying to address at the moment were because of the following bad/insane policies.

1- Letting imports bill unchecked to fuel the growth, while no other venues were explore for growth. For the idiot Nawaz growth, or "Taraqi" as they put it is to complete one or two trophy projects to fool the uneducated idiots, who are left without education and work training to live in abject misery.

2- The traders took over the country, without paying any taxes it must be added. In the absence of any manufacturing base or investment in the large and medium scale industries the demands naturally filled by the imports. Traders make huge profits, never paid any taxes and became a mafia. The same mafia is now not happy after the current government started to demand registration and paying of taxes. They are fuelling Diesel's dharana.

3- To please the crooks who provide support to criminal enterprises AKA PMLN and PPP were awarded lucrative insane contracts in energy field to rip off Pakistanis. That resulted in the accumulation of "circular debt". That debt circle fuelled the Energy price rises, making Pakistan uncompetitive. This resulted in crumbling of the remaining industrial base and hit the exports of textile etc.

4- As a result the trade and current account deficits increased and became out of control.
5- That effected the rupees valuation, it gradually lost value over the years.
6- To stablise the rupees, Dar played the gimmick instead of making the tough decisions and tackling the underlining problems which plagued the economy. He borrowed at a very high rate to show healthy foreign currency reserves.

The crooks are still misleading the nation.

Not the uneducated ..the educated ..the uneducated mostly knew things are bad....

PMLN majority supporters are educated in central punjab

This effect is called " nawaz aik nasha hey" paradox
