I never made this mistake but there's a slight difference..Congress was and is an open enemy of Pakistan, no doubts about it and I have mentioned it multiple times but they had a different attitude towards the Muslims inside India... even though their policies were causing an economic sidelining of the Indian Muslims but still it was not like this.

However the greatest loss for Pakistan was not cessation of east Pakistan but the war of terror. Though 1971 gets highlighted because it happened within a short duration and the enemy directly got involved in it but if you just compare the losses Pakistan suffered in 1971 with war of terror, you will conclude it was peanuts. We lost 80,000 lives and $252 billion in this war of terror and it destroyed our economy and reputation. 1971 was just peanuts in comparison and Pakistan recovered from it pretty quickly. Rather ZAB's nationalisation caused more economic damage to Pakistan than cessation of east Pakistan.

Right, but Nepal is a much smaller country with nowhere near as much contact with Islam or Muslims so it's hardly an appropriate sample. As for Afghanistan, that's got nothing to do with Muslims and Hindus having issues with each other. It just means Muslims also have issues with other Muslims.
