Pakistani pilots are nothing less than any other fighter pilot in the world. Also in close combat they would be deadly, but only good skills wont win the war.. Need good machines as well.. About Indian pilots well its the era if getting Acclimatized with the new tech. and gears.. they also be second to none. Man behind the machine is important, but a copper weapon cant win against steel majorly..

these arent the days of where 50 cal machine guns on subsonic flying aircraft get into dog fights these are the days where a majority of air to air combat takes place in BVR which IAF has an edge in compared to other AF's like Pakistans

Actually most of the retros that fought the war, have retired in style becoming chiefs and deputy chiefs. We need to see how the newer generation performs. This includes pilots that are being trained for Navy as well. Mind you, with new jets coming in, most of our air force will be loaded with youthful pilots.

The MKI pilots today are the youngest in entire IAF.

and arguably the most skilled next to MiG-29 pilots

we need better trainers though shabby trainers like Deepak and outdated obsolescent trainers like Kiran just don't cut it any more we need supersonic trainers like golden eagle

Never expect your enemy to be poor in anything, how so ever his circumstances are.

Anyways, Air Force pilots are all well trained, but comparing P.A.F v I.A.F pilots, Pakistan takes the cup but its fighting experience more than the I.A.F with better training and mentally capable (training) too. The pilots of P.A.F are set, to counter an enemy 5 times larger, thats how they are mentally prepared, and rest training (mental) is classified.

Adding, P.A.F. has always an edge over I.A.F in the training, but as the world develops, military is the same. Better and advanced techniques are comming day by day, including stimulation. I.A.F doesnt lack one, but it can't even compare with the P.A.F. One reason, P.A.F believes in air bourne training, and pilots comming with new ideas rather than ground stimulation and then telling them what to do in a scenario.
P.A.F pilots are given a particular task, and a scenario. They have to work their way, how to handle the situation.

This is, unique way of training, where rookies come over the instructures, and teach them their skills. Their new ideas are then 'processed' and better ways are then emerged out of it, which hardly any other Air Force does.

PAF has some of the best trained pilots in the world but each air force has its duds and studs

I agree you, but IAF has the aggressive doctrine, where as PAF has defensive doctrine. SO the majority of fights would be above the Pakistani airspace hence even SAM would be in action as well. its the jamming and counter measures that would decide the outcome. surely PAF would get destroyed, but at what cost?? Also one thing to remember India cant cross the nuclear threshold of Pak. Its never only air force of a nation or a pilot, but the whle defence system that brings the outcome..

we have pretty good ECM and ECCM systems on our fighters i think we should go to Israel for EW systems they are the masters of EW

Aren't you doing too much negetive comments since you registered?? what's the scene dude?? do you have the privilege to have tricolor as your fags??

i don't want to see my countrymen die for no reason, you want to risk the entire subcontinent over what some hilly snowy land in north of India? you act as if nuclear weapons dont exist between our 2 countries this isn't the 60's or 70's any more

instead of writing all the BS ..you could have simply written 1 P.A.F sabre pilot equals 10 I.A.F MKI pilots ...:hitwall::hitwall:
