House passes resolution on Kartarpur land swap

If that is the case then we would shut down this corridor.

Those losers can keep looking at kartarpur using binoculars like before. No need to facilitate these ungrateful b@stards.
Go ahead you have my blessing. This whole thing is just a publicity stunt, both sides are just using it for brownie points and advancement of their political agendas.

BTW, if pakistan is serious about rebooting Khalistan, the ISI should focus on training the khalistanis in Canada and London, becaise they are the only Khalistanis left. And support trudeau's re election while you are at it, because if the conservatives win next year, Khalistan will be dead.

you are welcome to live in your delusions. Sikhs are ome of the most anti pakistan people in india, and they are waking up to the fact pakistan tried to use their holy sites to play them. Almost no one takes sidhu seriously these days. India has outmaneuvered both the us and china before, pakistan poses no threat.

The only person being out maneuvered here is you so high on modis *** gass your starting to belive the garbage you type

it is true that you have been trying to start this khalistan thing for decades with no success and have received nothing but humiliation in the process India set all the khalistanis packing in1984 to canada and London. India is also killing terrorists in kashmir left and right, they are falling like cockroaches in a cloud of raid. but keep believing that Pakistan is winning.

well thats not we are hearing, check out any poll survey or interviews with common people and they all seem to contradict your statement.

Even the recent election result contradict your statement

first of all punjab has been ruled by congress for a while. Amarinder singh is a member of Congress, and he is more popular than Sidhu. and Obviously no one would bad mouth Pakistan while in Pakistan, but the fact s punjabi sikhs still have bad memories of partition, especially the older ones. And punjabi sikhs disproportionately serve in the Indian Army than any demographic, so many punjabi Sikhs had family or friends who were indian soldiers killed by pakistan.

Anyway my post was in response to someone who claimed Kartapur will revive Khalistan, which is not true. And many sikhs are waking up to the political posturing and grandstanding about this corridor on both sides. If pakistan is serious about reviving khalistan, they should look at London or Canada, which have the remaining pieces of that "movement"

It's just a resolution and smart politics. They will pass on resolution to Central Government which even if it agrees will not make Pak agree. Or it sits on the Resolution. Either way, Central Govt. looks bad.

not a good idea to brag about this..
land swap is simply not an option..end of story..what kinda idioitic resolution is this..pakistan should respond with strong yet polite NO and object to any such resolutions in future
They are just being emotional and butthurt ignore them Sikhs had a choice they blew it and got their holy sites bombed by Hindu army

It took them 72 years to pass this resolution of land swap? They want to swap land when we gave Sikhs access to it and never talked about it when there was no corridor?

Sorry the shrine belongs to all Sikhs in the world and not just Indian Sikhs. It belongs to Canadian Sikhs, UK Sikhs and Pakistani Sikhs. We cannot give the land to them and deprive our Pakistani Sikh brother of this shrine.

The thing is that why should we do a land swap? This gives us leverage over the Sikhs. It would be stupid from our perspective.

If Indian Occupied Kashmir is on the table (partitioning Kashmir based on district by religious affiliation majority) then I might accept this land swap.

youtube is full of videos of interviews by Indian media where Sikhs in India are praising Sindhu. Congress just won elections that were BPJ strongholds.

P.S. i am not one of those Pakistanis that favours Khalistan, you can check my history, my profile is open.

Nope the land swap would have been okay if there were no Sikhs in Pakistan or other nations around the world. We could have given the land for junagragh in exchange. But there are Sikhs living in Pakistan and we have to take care of their rights and religion as well because they are Pakistani nationals so land swap is out of question.

We cannot swap it for Kashmir because Kashmir is not Indian territory and receiving our own territory for giving our own territory is not a profitable swap.

Bhai, you are absolutely correct. We must protect the rights of all our communities.

Besides why should we do a land swap anyways? Jinnah gave the Sikhs an offer, but the Sikhs rejected it in 1947.

Well tough luck to the Sikhs. Now they must accept the consequences.

Nobody cares about Khalistan. Khalistan is impossible to create. how can the Sikhs make Khalistan when they barely make a majority in the East Punjab province lol.

the point is there is no need for a land swap. ;)

Partition happened and we got Kartarpur and thats the end of discussion. ;)

fair enough thank you for clarifying. However, you have to consider that a lot of indian media outlets are biased towards congress, and will only interview sidhu sipporters. Similar to how CNN mostly interviews anti-trump people. But then again, Amarinder SIngh is also a member of congress and just released a tweet supporting Rahul Gandhi after Congress won, so ot is not as simple as bjp vs. Congress.

to be honest, politicians are not the most accurate portrayal of people's opinion. They will say/do what ever suits them.
