US situation was 20,000-30,000 odd soldiers trying to take on the Taliban on their home soil. A completely different ballgame from what Taliban would face. In this case, they would be the 20,000-30,000 trying to enter a foreign country on a massively militarized border with a million soldiers and endless artillery and tanks. They would be target practice. You are severely deluded if you think Pakistan's land or sea power compares in any way to India. Air force is the only segment in which you are slightly ahead. In all other areas, you are massively overpowered. You don't even have a proper navy to speak of.

Sorry, it is not too diverse. Apart from Shia or Sunni, what else is out there. Every religion has that. Christians have protestants and catholics, doesn't mean it is diverse. Look at Ahmedis, they differed on some aspects and were kicked out of the religion.

We would be glad to do it again for them. Since they would be the ones invading our territory, ratio would be 1 Indian soldier for every 100 Talibans slaughtered. I can live with that.
