Himanta Biswa Sarma says CAA rules won't consider religious persecution

Everybody in India is free to use Laws to maximize Benefit for their own purpose.

That is the purpose of Laws.

Providing a legal framework to help you acheive your goals.

If Hindu from pakistan is going to claim persecution it is incumbent on Govt. of India to take his claim seriously. I fail to see why his claim should be disregarded. Especially considering the history of partition and ground realities.
And there we have it. Ok dude. Enjoy your b.s. fest. I suspect some people will feel aggrieved that Mr Sharma gets a free ticket to citizenship by faking persecution. Wait and see if these manipulations work or not.

THAT IS the big reveal ?

That people operate within the law to get things done ? :cheesy:

Mr. Sharma is more than welcome to India from Islamic neighboring states.

You heard wrong.

It was the Reichstag Fire Decree that gave power to Hitler. It operated OUTSIDE the constitution.
Rigggggggghhht, German laws passed by a German government. The various protocols and bills forwarded by Hitler were resisted by German communists and the Catholic church to a degree. Nazi Germany in the 1930's had become almost uni-party in terms of politics before the Nazis assumed absolute control. The opposition to their enactments and emergency powers was minimal because the public had been convinced by their antisemitic propaganda and the only opposition was the disjointed and low in numbers communists. This is quite reminiscent of India presently. What's your point?

Did you know btw the fire decree was a presedential decree, designed to bypass the parliament that Hitler intended to dissolve?

It was the first step in nazification of Germany and what followed was rewriting of laws under single party rule without objection from any branches of the legislature.

Essentially it was central control exerted in defiance of parliamentary rule by elected officials but with central support and the support of a brainwashed public.

India has excellent experience of this in dissolution of the Kashmiri parliament, arrest of its elected officials and imposition of governor rule in the lead up to last August's annexation.

India seems to follow Nazi examples as a routine rather than an exception.
