Wow! Any pics in that config?
SORRY,no picture till now and there won't be until the intigration of all the subsystems of FCS and Helina ATGM onboard ALH Rudra is completed.I was talking about an idea. The IAF wants 2 Helina per pylon to keep the over all weight lower as the Helina is heavy atgm and also needs launch tubes unlike LAHAT/Hell fire as the inboard pylons are capable of carrying more payload compared to outer pylons so in my opinion,ALH Rudra should be able to mount 4X Helina ATGMs in quad launch configuration per inboard pylon ane 2 per outward pylon, similar to the Eurocopter Tigers.
W.R.T LAHAT quad packs on ALH,yeah,a picture exists.I will try to find that.
The name sounds romantic until you realize that it's an acronym for HELIcopter NAg. 'Nag' is a ground based top attack anti tank missile, now incorporated onto an aerial platform - the helicopter. So HELINA!Helina what a beautiful name. It looks so good. Another achievement by DRDO.
Rudra can't carry quad launchers for missiles, the subwings are too light and the plans is to carry 2 + 2 on each wing:

LAHAT quad launchers instead are possible, even for both hardpoints:

LCH will have a higher payload capability and a quad launcher should be possible at least for the inner hardpoints, so when we talk about ATGMs like HELINA, SPIKE or Hellfire, it would be like this:
Rudra: 8 x missiles (16 x LAHAT)
LCH: 12 to 16 x missiles (16 x LAHAT)
Apache: 16 x missiles

Cheers!
