Dear Raheel Sahab,

Assalam O Allaikum

First of all I’d like to Congratulate you and your Organization for such a Noble Initiative. Pakistan is an Islamic country and we should do All we can to protect our public from forbidden products. Allah Almighty’s blessings be upon all those who work for this noble cause. Ameen. I’m so concerned that If Harram goes in our veins and Blood, so we cannot ‘’Act Halal’’. We would be Un pure and Allah Almighty’s Anger would come upon us, so we could not live happy in both lives. Ma’az Allah. I have started witnessing many doubtful things here in Lahore. Firstly, In almost all big grocery stores here, you get to have ‘’PIC & MIX’’ Gummy Sweets which are a UK Brand and were almost All Haraam, Containing pork gelatin. The Sellers claim that the Sweets are manufactured in Turkey with Halal ingredients but have no solid proof of it. More over you can see in the Attached Video the Haraam Oil Processing in Lahore. Please Kindly Do Investigate, and Kindly do all you can to get these products Banned in Pakistan. I’d be in contact with you in future too, and would Appreciate your Assistance in this Blessed Cause. Jazzakum Allah Kher.

Regards,

Fasih Ali Khan

Here in UK we have various private volunteer organizations who keep an eye on products and ingredients being sold and regularly publish their findings online..We have a list of "Haraam" emulsifiers which we keep handy when going supermarket for shopping and don't buy products which have animal derivatives unless stated as halal...Probably something similar canbe don ein Pakistan..A consumer Watchdog? alerting people about shady ingredients? and publish findings online

Who will care?
They do this as well as they get high 'profits'

Need private NGOs to take control, as the goverment will do a big NOTHING.
