The number of illegal migrants making the deadly sea crossing from Turkey to Europe has tripled in recent weeks.

Greece has about 90,000 migrants in more than 50 camps and centres across the mainland, northern frontiers and five Aegean islands. Many of the camps are squalid, overcrowded, rife with disease and home to unaccompanied minors. The surge in crossings has provoked fears that Greece will soon have more than the 100,000 that it says it can accommodate, which would result in a humanitarian crisis for the EU’s poorest member state.

There were 1,570 arrivals by sea in the first week of August, compared with 479 in the same period last year, according to data from Athens and the UN’s refugee agency.

The Turkish people should be more helpful to their brothers who want to go to Europe.

At least we should give frp hull boats.

This is how the powerful nations in the EU work. It has to be said that Greece is being turned into a scapegoat for the sins of Western warmongering nations.

The question arises, did Greece participate in any Western wars? If so, they too had it coming.

When you poke your nose in places you don't belong and destabilise peace you are also responsible for hosting the refugees.

Greece itself did not participate in any of the wars in the modern times. Though Greece is part of NATO but Turkey is even older member of NATO. Greece is in fact the mother of modern day Europe with a large body of philosophical and scientific work by people in ancient Greece. From democracy to philosophy and science... Europe got from Greece and Baghdad.

Pakistani people taking Asyl in Germany mostly marry Greek women, and process their cases in Germany.

That is a bit of a generalisation Afghan. Greeks don't like Pakistani refugees. Their politicians openly give derogatory statements against Pakistanis in general. LOL why would Greek women in Geemany marry Muslim Pakistani men? There is some screw lose in your head. You are contradicting yourself.

If Greece did not participate in any modern day war with US/NATO forces in Afghanistan or the Middle East this is a calamity of behemoth scale. I fully support Greek claims that the West is burdening them with refugees.

Greece was accepted as a member of NATO with the Turkey's approval.

More precisely, In exchange for not using to Veto, EU states have made significant promises to Turkey. But these promises were not kept.

Guess who is the president of the Turkey at the time? Kenan Evren. Who is Kenan Evren? Former general who led the US-backed military coup.

That is always how it goes. Doesn't it? That is why the US and Western world loves to have obedient poodles in such places. They love to compromise and weaken developing nations.

If I returned to the topic: Anyone knows , how many refugee children born in Turkey , in last 8 years ? More than 400,000.

Well, Do you know the Greek population in the Aegean islands? On average, around 500,000.

No need to force imagination.

Afghan?
And my statement is based on observation.
And what contradiction? please enlighten me as well.

Greece is actually being scapegoated by western Europeans. But then Greece should go and whinge at them. Then again, western Europe has Greece by its financial balls so there isn't much Greece can do other than continue being used.
