The sad part is that the PPP is seen as the 'liberal' political party on Pakistan's political scene.
Yet they have caves in on Blasphemy, done nothing on Ahmadi or other minority rights, and IMO not taken a bold stance in defence of Pakistani culture, Music and art, as a party and government (individual personalities though have made positive comments, though unheeded by the party itself).
So practically speaking, what is the difference between the PPP and PMLN, when it comes to promoting 'liberal social policies'?
