My guy 6.8 out ranges common Russian and Chinese rounds. So basically it's a huge step forward
But it also Increases recoil and the rifle weight and size.

The reverse of going for bigger calibre rounds is due to the advancement of material size where 5.56mm has difficulty penetrate modern ballistic bullet proof vest.
 
No British hate the US rifles. They would make their own crappy British rifle but wouldn't adapt the US weapon.

Queen's guards would look awful carrying US rifles 😜
I never said the UK would use US rifles, where did I imply that? We have our own small arms industry.

No, it doesn't weigh that much lol nor it has uncontrollable recoil. It's recoil report is slightly more than a 5.56
