It doesn't matter what party is elected. You'll just be replacing 1 banana republic dictator for another. I think most Indians know this too, after being looted by every party that has ever gotten power.
The only way for India to move forward is to abandon links with the past which are chaining it to poverty and adopt communism.
over our dead bodies...i would rather be under a corrupt government where i have freedom of speech than a communist government..
for ur benefit a quote--
I am thankful for all the complaining I hear about our government because it means we have freedom of speech. ~Nancie J. Carmody
I personally think communism is a good policy, but fortunately it works for China. In India that is a different story. People have the worst mindset and like to pick over fights for any damn reason. Most people dont have any civic sense nor try to act civilized. But what can we do? All we can do is wait for Congress to get out, and wait for BJP to come in. We need a deomcracy that works for the people. Corruption is prevalent in any country. Poverty and lack of proper infrastructure are the 2 major things holding back India, not necesarily the gov't. Our only hope really in my opinion is to have closer ecnomice, strategic, cultural, and military ties with China. We have such a prosperous neighbor, but we choose to ignore them. Really we want to work with China so we can at least have someone to support us. No matter how great India's economy looks on paper, the poverty is still there. This poverty can be rid without proper infrastrcture. I hope China can help India advance its infrastructure. In 20-25 years I can see India a more developed state at par with China (although China will undoubtly be higer in an ecnomical standpoint).
