Global economic recession and its impact on South Asian Countries

want to know what will be the impact on south asian countries, like Pakistan , India and Bangladesh, last economic recession didnt have any impact on pakistan. but this time i am not sure. so whats our PDF members and experts think about it.

we will not be effected much as we dont have any significant stakes to start with ...... India and Bangladesh will be hit noticeably if recession occurred.

I am a novice but I reckon Pakistan shouldn't worry much about it, however BD and IND should. Because there are many western companies who get their work done in those two countries. So when recession will hit western countries than demand and supply will take a toll, revenue will be deteriorated and even job lose will occur in BD and IND. All this is norm during recession.

On contrary, how many western companies are getting their work done in Pakistan? hardly any. Therefore, minimal impact.

My 2 cents in in layman's terms.

But instead Pakistan can take advantage of trade war and can emerge as a new player by attracting export opportunities.
