There should be some investigations as to why the Police could not handle the situation. It's astonishing that some parts of Pakistan resemble the wild wild west.

The government must ensure that the troops will not use heavy handed methods and target the miscreant group in a surgical procedure where unnecessary loss of lives can be reduced to a minimum.

A complete revamp of the police department is only logical as the government revamps the judicial system.
