The lakes of course I went there for the fishing so I've probably seen them better than you. Let me know if you want tips.

I'll help any way I can for starters use multi colored line to figure out the depth since Cayuga and the other one are pretty deep, troll some spoons at various depths, or drop down a jig with a plastic. Personally I don't like the taste of lake trout and don't keep bass as they're good sporting fish. Ask away if you need clarification.

Fair enough personally I try to stay off the beaten path. To each their own indeed.
