Not surprising, but don't take this offensively. Their national policy dictates that they oppose it verbally, at the very least. Nothing will come out of this, the EU will not risk offending Pakistan, just to score some brownie points. This is Pakistan's 9/11, if the EU pushes too hard, Pakistan will probably tell them to **** right off, causing a major diplomatic crisis.
