What's new

Germans keep putting us to shame.

Great effort by German nationals in Pakistan , we need to learn from such initiatives

In Pakistan , people consider cleaning or holding a broom a taboo
That is also why majority of Shops on streets have no health standard for cleaning
no paint or visible signs of maintenance exist

That's why it is great idea to use the school children to clean certain area near their schools to get them into this habit and overcome this taboo. Also we need to introduce social duties (cleaning streets, helping the elderly, working in hospitals, cleaning public toilets) similar to UK as a punishment for minor offences like littering on the streets and public places, wrong parking, unnecessary honking, noise & loud music, etc
@Dubious you were of the same opinion.

mazel tuv !!

I like your Swedish open mindedness
I know you chuckled :partay:

Cleanliness is in Islam - that is purpose of Wudu. It is bizarre to see this in places like Pak, West Africa is notorious for rubbish and people spitting gum & tobacco.

People need to have cleanliness beaten into them again. We are killing and toxifying the wildlife and environment like this. Muslim are supposed to be guardian of the land. There is definitely space for Islamic Green movement for cleansing our lands of trash, plastic etc
