Sweden is not part of FCAS - It has for the time being joined the UK Tempest Programme.
If either programme fails, then countries will gravitate towards the other programme, but i suspect that the UK will complete Tempest, and what Tempest looks like will be governed by the number of partners in the programme and how much money it is prepared to spend on it.
Tempest is part of a programme to keep the UK aviation industry alive and relevant, so I think the UK will continue with the programme regardless, especially given the poor state of relations between the UK and countries like France/Germany and the EU super-state.
The UK already has a bank of experience in developing FBW systems, airframes, stealth modelling and the engines will be fairly easy to do by Rolls Royce, and it is working with Japan on the next generation of radars(JAGUAR programme) etc. So, th UK has most of what it needs already.
France and Germany may also cooperate with Russia. Russia already has the Su-57. It's a pretty neat plane and not far off from FCA.
stop trolling.....
Britain is hostile with Russia but Germany and France have pretty good relation with Russia. They see Russia as an important counterweight against American influence in Europe.
Su-57 has fairly close fuselage with FCA. I wouldn't be surprised if there is technology input from Su-57 into FCA to speed up development.
