Japan IS WILLING to share. Make a reasonable deal.

It's just that Japanese have never sold weapons. If they did. They would have today, at least a share equal to France if not more. In the international arms market.

Our rusted subs will take care of western neighbour . We need to focus on SCS .

SORYU submarines are very stealth and big as well . Now Aussie have committed to buy this submarine. If India buy it too then it Australia Japan India have can have deadly fleet of SORYU to counter Chinese submarines. Aussie will add at least 12 and it looks like India will also go for 12 P75I . Am sating this because as per our planned we will spread the ToT with 3 shipyards
On the basis of 1+1+4 . One each for private and 4 for public sector. But the point to note is private sectors can't afford to invest heavily for just 1 submarine . They even expressed their unhappiness even to share 3+3 as they can't survive with loss. So what am thinking is We might end up giving follow on for 3+3 for these two private sectors after they fully obsorb ToT . Very good move if this is our motive .

No matter what ! SORYU is the best to operate even in SCS for which it is made for .

This will be awesome if our Germany friends kindly upgrade our Old HDWs with 214 features. And we can focus on some thing else Scorpene subs will be compact and deadly for we can go for 4 follow on.

For reasons beyond technical, if I were there, I would have pushed soryu proposal the most. Of course talk with others too, but there are reasons the Japanese navy is gonna secretly make some more of them, advanced ones.

I hope they share that stuff with us. We ain't a threat to anybody except Those who are a threat to us.
