GEO's fake accounts banned by Twitter

A cyber crime wing of Geo TV, tasked with defaming its opponent, has been exposed, ARY News reported Friday.

According to a report supposedly released by Twitter, Geo TV has created several IDs on Twitter through a single internet protocol (IP) address which is used to defame the opponents of Geo on social media.

Sources told that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan and other media groups were targeted by Geo’s cyber crime wing.

They told a man, Faisal Sherjan, director of Geo’s Strategy and Planning, is supervising the cyber crime cell of Geo. He was assigned the task to arrange a group of hackers and experts to run the cyber crime wing.
