yeah he was....A good book on Major Shabbir Sharif is "fatehe sabona" by ashfaq ahmed....very informative and entertaining with pure emotions....a must read....and in there Gen Raheel profile photo of PMA is also present...

What do you man by you believe? He was his elder brother.He belonged to the family of two nishane haiders.
