General election 2019: Labour pledges free broadband for all

Empty pledges are so easy to make

Labour party are totally destroying their credibility by making all these pledges that will be difficult to fund unless they raise taxes substantially for the majority.

Anyone half decent as Labour leader would be able to beat that Johnson clown, but they chose Corbyn!

The entire momentum coup has been a terrible for labour - and the way it was done was unethical too. Poor people needed a genuine option in these elections and momentum has hijacked their only hope.

Man the Tories are such a shambles over Brexit and austerity that this election should be a slam-dunk for Labour.

Some of what Corbyn is saying is great like building 100,000 Council Homes a year and privatising some companies like Trains, Water and Royal Mail.
I also think the idea to raise taxes a little for those earning more than £80,000 a year and also increase in corporation tax is fantastic as it will not harm to the economy and generate a decent amount of revenue that could be spent to those in need, like building more council homes to alleviate the housing crisis.

Then they come up with hair-brained ideas to get rid of tuition fees and replace loans with grants that would cost at least 10 billion pounds a year - nearly a 2p in the pound income tax rise to the basic 20p rate.

They just do not know where the stop!

It's pure populism. They're promising everything to the poor on the pretense that the rich will pay for it. But the numbers don't add up - and people have clocked on.
