Well, I think there are differences of opinion between DT and Pentagon / sec. of defence and perhaps those are most pronounced during this regime. Though the wording of the tweet is positive but people get it as he has been fired.

All news accounts that I am currently watching are saying General Mattis decided to retire when Trump made the the change to Middle East policy.

But here's the difference.. I'm not claiming that as a fact. That's just what they're saying that they've heard from sources.
