To be honest, he is kind of right though. I don't understand why even the Turk dude is trying to claim some sort of moral high ground by taking on the Saudis over Israel/Palestine. Since Turkey and Israel have enjoyed quite good diplomatic and economic relations, Plus they even had a very fruitful military cooperation until recently, that's not counting Turkey being a NATO member for over half a century(the only Muslim country we allowed in the grouping). Same with Qatar who still host the largest U.S military base in the region and is very close to Western powers(we will be setting up a military base there as well). So whats all this talk of picking on only the Saudis as ''sell out to the West/Israel '' while claiming to be holier than thou? lolWow!,now if that isnt the saudi pot calling the qatari kettle black

At the end of the day each player in the region is after their own interests. There is nothing like claiming the moral high ground or claiming to be standing up to the West/Israel alone. That's just laughable to be honest.
Maybe only Iran(due to their ideological ruled regime) has suffered from an irrational policy of being too antagonistic and ideological in its foreign policy, instead of being more flexible. However, funny enough they too are not fond of Islamist groups(read muslim brotherhood inspired groups) taking power in the region and would rather have a fairly secular regime like the Assad regime in Syria over the Islamists, even though they too were once viewed the same way by Western powers as an Islamist group before taking power during the Islamic revolution in Iran. So it's interesting to see they have been fighting against Islamist groups/Islamic revolution in Syria . Guess all boils down to INTERESTS as well.
