1.) Israel is occupying the West Bank and Gaza since 1967. They only withdrew from Gaza in 2005.

2.) Hamas won majority seats and presidential election for Palestinians in 2006. Israel and the US rejected the will of the Palestinian people and so did the Palestinian Authority. There was a unity government elected then.

3.) Israel proceeded to enforce a siege and blockade on Gaza

4.) Israel increased settlement construction in the West Bank by hundreds of thousands of units.

5.) Israel and the US refuse to allow any negotiations over a two state solution with the Palestinian unity government.


6.) Israel refused to allow a Gaza seaport to be established in 2014 that was offered to it by the EU and was going to be fully regulated by international parties. With Israeli security mechanisms in place.

7.) Hamas agreed to give up administration of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian Authority, Israel and the US refused this without forcing Palestinians to disarm and concede their right to self defense.

8.) Hamas then agreed to have elections scheduled for May of 2021 and agreed to accept the results. Israel refused to allow Palestinians from multiple cities in the West Bank to vote in these elections. Israel, the US, Arab regimes, and the Palestinian Authority then completely scrapped the elections and delayed it indefinitely.

Hamas has done everything in its hands to give peace a chance. Israel and it's terrorist allies have left Palestinians with no choice but to break out of the prison.

Nah, AIPAC has been discussed critically in the past. As long as Zionists and their supporters control key levers of power in the West, no amount of bad PR will undo their stranglehold.

Per a decade long Princeton study, popular ideas/policy is never implemented in US and by extension other Western democracies, only special interests and lobbyist get their way to the detriment of the constituents.
