Bro
Your post makes sense and is factually correct.

What hurts me is the thought if the middle eat and muslamic nations actually put their foot down and took a stance together - to stop selling oil and gas - not allow their air space to be used - to stop import and export - to show unification - overnight the west would put pressure on Netanshityoo to have a re think.
They are so wrapped up in themselves. It’s more important to have a jab or go against another Islamic nation than actually hurt those committing horrific crimes on their Palestinian cousins…….
The Muslim world is too diverse. So people should actually have expectations based on ground reality.
Every Muslim nation has its own set of geostrategic interests.
Take Azerbaijan as an example, they have big hostile Iran on their border so obviously Israel-AZ good relations are very important for them.
Azerbaijan is oil supplier of Israel and will not sacrifice its interests for Palestinians.

That’s fine - to have strategic interests. Goes without saying but please understand the west play the ME like a fiddle. You do as you’re told - if you don’t - you end up like Libya.
Having leaders that put their personal interests first seems to be a common factor.
It’s poignant at times like this I remember something i learned at school. Martin Neomoller
First they came for the communists - I did not speak up
Then they came for the socialists - I did not speak up
Then they came for the nationalists - I did not speak up
Then they finally came for me - then I’m afraid there was no one left to speak up

Which areas?
Off topic here but obviously Iran has more key natural resources like oil, gas and iron. Pakistan's energy policy has been very bad for the last 40 years. Instead of developing local energy resources (Hydro and coal) it chose to focus on imported oil and gas....which leads to chronic BOP problems. Iran doesn't have this problem. Also Pakistani policy makers choose to embrace deindustrialization with a focus on the service sector for last 30 years. This has led to major economic imbalances....Pakistan consumes too much and produces too little. Iran's industrial policy has been better as well, IMO.......but part of that has to do sanctions that make Iran have to produce domestically.
