They should not release any israeli hostages until there is a permanent ceasefire or ideally a two state solution. The israeli hostages should suffer the same fate as the Palestinians in Gaza, either die under indiscriminate israeli bombing, or live to see permanent peace with israel under a two state solution based on pre-1967 borders.

Hamas is not stupid. When you have the whole region colluding with Israel and refusing to allow entry of essential aid, food and water into Gaza, then you have to be able to provide for civilian population. Gaza is completely besieged and is unlike any other conflict in the region.
