Hamas are stupid. The israelis will simply roundup the prisoners it has just released, or incarcerate new women and children, whereas Hamas will not be able to do the same.

They should not release any israeli hostages until there is a permanent ceasefire or ideally a two state solution. The israeli hostages should suffer the same fate as the Palestinians in Gaza, either die under indiscriminate israeli bombing, or live to see permanent peace with israel under a two state solution based on pre-1967 borders.

I could not agree with you more. These Zionist savages don't have an ounce of humanity, decency or morality. They have been killing Palestinians for almost a century now, stealing Palestinian lands and conducting the world repression in human history with daily killings and incarceration of Palestinian men, women and children. Hamas made a few errors in not pushing more armed men into the desert occupied cities and towns of Negev on Oct 7th and not taking far more Zionist captives. The operation could have been better planned as many of the over-run Zionist military bases were not burnt to the ground and all the armor not destroyed. Hamas should have also taken all the captured small arms, light artillery (mortars etc) back to Gaza and should have booby trapped the occupied towns. Now they are perhaps down to 175 captives and if they release them there are no more bargaining cards left and the Zionist cowards will start bombing with more intensity. If the Zionist baby killers do start indiscriminate bombing of Gaza, then I believe the chances of a regional war and destabilization of Arab puppet regimes is quite high.

Hopefully, when Hezbollah goes into full action against the Zionist child killers it will be as ruthless as the Zionist pigs. For every civilian building destroyed in Lebanon, Hezbollah should raze two in return. If Beirut airport is bombed than Ben Gurion airport should be turned to dust. The first Hezbollah response should be to neutralize the 9 major Zionist airbases from norther Occupied Palestine to Eilat in the south. The only way to defeat and expel the Zionists from the region is to be as ruthless. If these bastards kill Arab women and children they should expect the same or worse. This conflict is at a beginning phase and the consequences will be far reaching. Hamas or the resistance simply can not be "destroyed".

I think this shows you that amazingly even under this hideous inhuman occupation the palestinians have managed to retain their humanity,unlike their opponents.
The strength of their spirit is nothing short of incredible,its a testimony to them as a people.

The Palestinians in the North and South of Gaza Strip were in dire situation where all essentials items of food, fuel, and medicine ran out. So it was these difficult conditions that forced the hands of the resistance in Gaza. Besides, they're keeping the hostages who were part of the military and intelligence of the occupation.

Yesterday, there were reports of Hamas issuing their demands to release the remaining prisoners in their hands:

1. Release all Palestinian prisoners and detainees in the Occupation's hands;
2. Remove all Israeli forces from Gaza;
3. Lift all siege from Gaza including air and sea.

I think we need to understand not only are they battling the occupation, they also have a responsibility of governing. So when the occupation is inflicting collective punishment and massive pain on the civilian population, Hamas, as the governing party in Gaza, needs to do what they can to alleviate the suffering of the civilian population.

What hurts me is the thought if the middle eat and muslamic nations actually put their foot down and took a stance together - to stop selling oil and gas - not allow their air space to be used - to stop import and export - to show unification - overnight the west would put pressure on Netanshityoo to have a re think.
They are so wrapped up in themselves. It’s more important to have a jab or go against another Islamic nation than actually hurt those committing horrific crimes on their Palestinian cousins…….
