I would love to see Eurofighter Typhoon in PAF colors.

Can B70/72 can be equal to it??

Bulgaria evaluated latest variants of Eurofighter Typhoon, Gripen-E and F-16 for induction in its Air Force, and found F-16 Block 70/72 to be superior to all.

F-16 Block 70/72 is a completely new aircraft beneath F-16 branding.

Lockheed Martin was looking forward to pull the plug from F-16 brand but that itch to experiment...

There was never a chance of 100 EFTs being ordered. At max, we would have gone for a squadron or two. Yes, we could buy in small batches of 3-4 aircrafts.

7 plane order is way to go if Pakistan was serious about the platform
Considering these things take time in the time frame of 3 years we would have had our 25-29 Euro Fight Typhoon Squadrons to supplement the F16 Fleet

I am sure Typhoon manufacturing would understand about the financial constraints

It has been a popular platform in Middle East

• Oman
• Qatar

All went with small-batch orders

Small number of typhoons with f16s will increase the cost of maintenance. IMO typhoon besides more payload doesn't offer much.

I think the fact the US has so much invested in the region also helped the order and flying the F-16 would have been logical.

Ahhhhh dreams bro if only they could come true. I'd love to see the Typhoon with the PAF and just think about one of the closest allies Saudi has a fleet of them, the possibilities are endless.

I hope Pakistan is able to fix its economy. This is the primary obstacle.

F16 is the best 4th generation fighter jet, Rafale and Typhoon are just slightly better than F16 block 52 where as equal than block 60 of F16s. The block 70 of F16s have advantage on all other 4+ generation fighters

If PAF wants to go EFT way, than it should order new 36 T3 with 24 T1 & T2(later upgrade to T3) OR order new 24 T3 with 36 T1&T2. otherwise go for Su-35 or J-16 or J-10C and these jets can also be used for Maritime.
