A funeral prayer, in absentia, was performed Friday for slain citizen Jamal Khashoggi at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

Another prayer was also performed for Khashoggi at the Prophet Mosque in Madinah, following Dawn (Fajr) prayers.

Kashoggi was not considered an opposition figure by the Saudi government, neither did he consider himself as such, in fact..he was praising the reforms made by MBS.. Why would MBS personally wants to kill him?
