Remember the "Freedom Fries" fiasco? That, and a general tendency for Americans to think, right or wrong, that the U.S. pulled their cookies out of the fire twice now, only to have that favor returned with haughtiness and dislike.

I've been to France many times. They are not the warmest people in the world, but nothing horrible. Make an attempt to speak French (S'il vous plait) and they'll be cool.

As far as inbreeding, the USA has the LEAST inbred population on earth. We've got fresh genes from all over the world due to immigration. Some of the genes have combined to make some smoking hot women, so long as they stay away from the Freedom Fries!

Freedom of speech for me if when you can express your ideas, your opinions without being put in jail for this.
It is important for the democracy, so anyone with new ideas from social to politic could express it.

But when you say "hey i'll kill you" this is not freedom of speech. it is a threaten.

When someone is saying it is better , not kill just one person, but thousands of person, it would be acceptable?
i understand: these guys he wants to be killed, they are not americans so ok it is nothing to do with inside justice of protection of anyone...
but still many countries condemn it in the purpose as "motivation of hatred towards a race a religion or a communauty"
this guy above is the perfect exemple something is not tolerated here: this is nothing to do with freedom of political or social view but HATRED. And the same when on your car you write "kill the xxx"
like the story in Texas about a bar that inside they were making a paint of "cowboys and iranians" (instead indians) with one guy hanged
all this is nothing to do with freedom of speech but freedom of hatred

This is where you are wrong, at least partially. If I say to you: 'Am going to kill you if you do not do X, Y, and Z.' That would be legitimately prosecutable by law. The reasoning here is whether I have the capability to do or not and usually as individuals we do have that capability.

But only states can threaten other states. Individuals cannot threaten the existence of a state. An individual does not have that capability despite what 'Hollywood' might put out. Barack Obama as an individual cannot credibly threaten any state, but as President of the US with all the power available to him, and IF he has that sticker on the Presidential limo, then it becomes a credible threat. Basically, threats are assessed by their creators' credibility at achieving them, not just by their contents.
